What do you need to know when visiting Sunbury Square?

Victoria’s Big Build is continuing with the Sunbury Line Upgrade!

With exciting works on the horizon, we want to ensure all Sunbury Square customers are in the know with traffic changes and public transport updates.

Please see below overview of current road closures & construction. As the Sunbury Line Upgrade evolves, we will update this page with any changes that might effect your visit to Sunbury Square.

Reminder: If you have an appointment at any Sunbury Square retailer, please ensure you are giving yourself extra time to get to your appointments.
We cannot predict if there will be delays, however to ensure our retailers booking schedules continue to run smoothly, please allow yourself enough time to navigate any detours.

  • Gap Road & Station Street Road Closure – Monday 30 May, 2022
As construction begins on the Gap Road Level Crossing Removal, the section of road between Evans and Horne Streets will be closed in both directions starting May 30 for approximately four months until a new underpass is built, with the hopes of opening to the public in late 2022.
Traffic management will be in place, directing traffic around the road closure. Please ensure you follow all signs and plan ahead with an alternative route to the Centre. Allow yourself some extra time if you have an appointment too!
