Supporting Our Veterans at Sunbury Square

Sunbury Square was proud to welcome back the Sunbury RSL Sub-Branch for the annual ANZAC Poppy Appeal. This important initiative provided the community with an opportunity to show support for current and former service personnel while contributing to essential welfare services for veterans and their families.

Visitors to the centre stopped by the pop-up stall to purchase poppies and commemorative badges. All funds raised through the appeal went directly towards programs supporting veterans with their health, wellbeing and everyday needs.

The stall was located at the Evans Street entrance and operated until 24 April, subject to volunteer availability.

They will return to Sunbury Square in November 2026 for the Remembrance Day Poppy Appeal, providing another opportunity for the community to show its support.

Sunbury Square thanks everyone who took part in this meaningful initiative and helped honour the service and sacrifice of our veterans.
