HISTORY IN THE MAKING..
Sunbury Square Shopping Centre opened in 1989, the Centre expanded quickly from its traditional strip shopping doubling in size through to the 1980’s. Sunbury’s population was then 11,085 and more than tripled with strong population and development growth.
In 2008 The Hume City Council adopted the Sunbury Town Centre Plan that identified future development opportunities to meet the needs of the Sunbury community.
